The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ ($157,399 starting in Canada, $127,700 in the US) and the Mercedes-Benz G 580 ($206,000 starting in Canada, $161,500 in the US) are two big EV versions of their beloved gas-engined counterparts. The Escalade IQ has 785 lb ft of torque, a healthy 740 km of estimated range, and packs all sorts of Escalade-esque tech and features. The G580 has a whopping 859 lb ft of torque, classic G-Wagon styling and off-road capabilities, but only a paltry 385 km of range. But which would you choose as your big, bad, luxury EV?
